An End-of-Summer Intern Dream

My name is Jake Matuszewski and for the past three months, I have worked as a Social Media Intern for Sneeze It—a digital marketing agency. From the moment I stepped into the office until the last time I pulled out of the parking lot, I couldn’t help but reflect on one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my life. I intend to peel back the curtains and reveal to all why Sneeze It is such an incredible place to learn.

With a genuine passion for social media marketing and advertising tactics, I set out for a challenge. I wanted hands-on experience in the field that I had become so enamored with. Thus, when this position was offered to me, I was absolutely ecstatic without realizing the full extent of the knowledge I would be gaining.

Sneeze It gave me the opportunity to use my creativity every single day for both internal and external marketing efforts. From the very first day that I entered the office, I always felt as if my ideas and opinions mattered, and that I offered real value to the conversation. It’s was an amazing feeling as an intern to be taken seriously, even if some of my ideas were a little unconventional.

In my eyes, there is one underrated characteristic that distinctly separates Sneeze It from the rest—a strong team of managers that guide the company to prosperity. The pure determination of my colleagues and senior team members sets the tone for the success that lies ahead, which is why I aspire to be just like them.

They all work around the clock to do their jobs, and there is nothing more admirable than that. At the very least, I would have to say that they are a true “All-Star” team! The ambitious spirit that radiates throughout the Sneeze It office made it incredibly enjoyable and comforting to come to every day. You will find that the entire team will take a genuine interest in your life, and will work tirelessly to be successful while demanding excellence.

Fortunately, for me, this trip is not yet over. This fall I will continue to intern (remotely) as I look to earn my degree from the West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Despite whatever my future holds beyond graduation, I know that Sneeze It will continue to prosper.

The ‘Digital Marketing Revolution’ has only just begun.
