Exciting new Google+ feature!
Though it’s currently in beta for a limited set of AdWords advertisers, +Post ads will take a piece of your brand’s Google+ content (a photo, video, or even a Hangout), and turn this into a display ad that will run across more than 2 million sites in the Google Display Network. This new format amplifies your brand, allowing you to engage directly with your audiences and follow your brand, add comments, or give a +1—right from the ad itself. This is similar to Facebook (for anyone who may be familiar with their advertising), but the Google+ posts become ads and you will now have the opportunity to use the entire internet as your social media page.
In layman’s terms: if someone is looking up clothes for a five-year-old girl and you posted something on your brand’s Google+ page for a sale at your children’s boutique, this will appear as an ad and users can find you easily and connect directly. Pretty neat, right?
